Good objects age well when they are cared for. A few notes on getting the most from your Luma pieces. Linen and cotton: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low or line dry. Linen softens with every wash — resist the urge to iron it flat. Merino wool: hand wash cool or dry clean, never wring, and always dry flat. Store folded rather than hung. Stoneware and glass: dishwasher safe unless noted. Avoid thermal shock — let a hot dish cool before it meets cold water. Oak and olive wood: wipe with a damp cloth, never soak. Re-oil wood pieces once a month or when they look thirsty. Waxed canvas and leather: spot clean only. Re-wax canvas when water stops beading, and condition leather lightly as it patinas.
